Description
The handmade pictures that Paul creates are termed ‘repousse’ work which is the creation of 3 dimensional shapes and pictures in sheet metal by the use of traditional embossing and chasing techniques. Paul uses Aluminium this medium lends itself to depicting cars and creating motoring art and much as it is not possible to achieve as much finite detail as in a painting the reflections and light on the three dimensional shapes really capture the essence and shows the shapes in a way that a painting cannot.
