Black and White Surf Co Ltd has an on-going commitment to the surfing community, providing work experience placements for school students, work placements for colleges and close contact and support for surf schools and the surf life saving club. Encouraging young people in surfing is one of our key aims.

The future of Black and White, and the whole British surfboard manufacturing industry is at threat from cheap imported boards. We need to educate the British surfer to recognize that the surfboards manufactured in this country are among the very best in the world, the shapes are shapes that work in our waves, surfboards here are still made by craftsmen who have a passion for surfing. Surfing has always been about expression and individuality how better to show that than by surfing a custom surfboard with a good local pedigree.
