A Scottish based company specialising in creating environmentally sound contemporary furniture and products and providing these skills to other companies.

The unusual name originates from two of the firmly held beliefs of the founding directors: First of all, the excellence of the British design and manufacturing heritage and the desire to support the quality and integrity that still exists in British manufacturing. These are qualities that Blue Marmalade looks for in all its products. And what is more British than marmalade? Secondly: originality, imagination, fun and the ability to create simple things with a unique twist. So it is a company as unique as blue marmalade, British with a twist.

All Blue Marmalade furniture and products are deceptively simple. Their detailed design allows each surprising and exciting product to be created from a handful of components. All this means low waste products that are easily recycled. The bright and colourful nature of Blue Marmalade products means they fit seamlessly into the contemporary design landscape as well as being environmentally friendly.
