Maggie Williams Glass works from The Glass Place, her new studio and shop in the village of Veryan, South Cornwall.
At the glass place all work is mouth blown and hand finished, making each piece unique. Thirty different colours are used both transparent and opaque, and many more available on request.
Ideas are drawn from the natural world, in particular tropical plants with their luscious colours and shapes. From cacti to the deadly carnivorous Pitcher Plant, these plant forms are a constant source of inspiration. Interestingly most of the work evolves into vessels for flowers.
The unique Eden hanging vases can be hung in large numbers in offices, restaurants and other spaces, or in smaller groups in a house or an apartment.
